A message of hope from Fr. John

On this Feast of St. Joseph, we read in Luke the angel telling Joseph in a dream during his crisis “Do not be afraid.”

“Be not afraid” is God’s message to us and words for us to cling to and pray during this crisis which is a nightmare for many who are struggling in so many ways.

Jesus was born of Joseph and Mary to be with us.  Trust during this time that He continues to be with us. It gives us reason not to be afraid.

Fear takes us away from God.  Trusting that Jesus is with us when we cannot be with one another reminds us that we are not alone.

Praying on our own and singing in our hearts the song “Be not Afraid” will keep us in communion with God and one another.

St. Joseph pray for us.
