olunteers are needed for this summer’s VBS week of fun set for June 24-28 from 9:30am-noon each day. This year’s theme , Living in God’s Kingdom, will compare members of the Catholic Church to citizens of a medieval castle village. Just like life in the medieval village, many people are needed at VBS to make it a success. Adult volunteers will be needed to help with snacks, crafts, skits, bible stories, music and much more. Those interested in being part of the village that makes VBS a success should contact Cathy at the parish office.

NEW FAITH LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS IN THE DIOCESE OF YOUNGSTOWN
The Office of Faith Formation and Lay Ecclesial Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown offers new online and in person opportunities for adults seeking to learn more or deepen their understanding of topics in faith and Catholic Church practice. The online sessions allow flexibility in schedules because learners can read, reflect, and respond at any time of the day. Materials are provided and assignments posted at the beginning of a given week, and participants have the week to respond, until the following week’s learning is posted. The in-person sessions allow group discussion and immediate feedback. Courses vary in the number of weeks, from three to fourteen. Course fees vary depending on costs of materials and the length of the course. Course dates and descriptions can be found by going to the website Catechist Café, (https://catechistcafe.weebly.com) under “For Catechists/Catechist Courses.” For more information, contact the Office of Faith Formation and Lay Ecclesial Ministry at 330-744-8451, ext. 296, or mhynes@youngstowndioceses.org.
