Children's Ministry

Children’s ministry includes PSR, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Vacation Bible School and a variety of other formational, liturgical and sacramental programs aimed at fostering the Catholic faith in the lives of our children.

PSR

PSR provides faith formation for children age 4 through 8th grade throughout the year. Students also participate in various parish activities and devotions throughout the year as part of the curriculum. To register, contact the parish office.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

One weekend per month children are called forward at Mass to be led by a trained catechist to a prepared liturgical space for a special children’s liturgy. Children will listen to the Gospel reading proclaimed by the catechist who then helps them understand the meaning and how it applies to their life on a level appropriate for their understanding. Children are then led back to the main liturgical celebration to rejoin their family.
